Virgil works with individuals and families to understand their specific needs and priorities and introduces them to a wealth planning team that can help them achieve their long-term financial objectives.
Prior to joining Mariner, Virgil was a regional planning director at Edelman Financial Engines where he led new client relationship development in a key sales channel through business networking and worked to strengthen existing partner relationships in the Midwest and West Coast. In this role, he also led all aspects of rollouts with new clients and delivered webinars and seminars related to financial planning to clients across the United States.
Prior to that, Virgil was a regional director at Beaumont Capital Management where he built new relationships and serviced existing advisor and consultant relationships within several states. He conducted meetings with advisors and consultants to optimize sales and supported and trained the internal sales partner and wholesaler on a wide range of products. Before that, Virgil was a regional sales manager at Edelman Financial Engines where he oversaw a national territory with DC plan assets of $100M to $500M and continuously prospected for clients, conducted analysis and collaborated with marketing staff to drive business growth.
Personal Interests
Virgil enjoys golfing, hiking, trail running, coaching his daughter’s soccer team and spending time with his family. He is a fan of Chicago sports teams.
