Ben is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

Experience and Education

Ben advises clients through all stages of their lives, providing wealth management solutions including investment management, estate planning, tax planning and retirement forecasting. He also works with corporate executives on advanced estate planning strategies to maximize equity compensation while managing risk and tax implications.

Prior to joining Mariner, Ben worked as a senior wealth advisor at The Mather Group. While there, he provided holistic financial advice to prospective clients around investments, retirement, estate planning, insurance and taxes. Before that, he served as director of financial planning at Edelman Financial Engines.

Ben has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Michigan State University.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Ben enjoys skiing, hiking and cooking. He has played the guitar for over 25 years.
