Experience and Education

Jacob works with clients to provide personalized wealth management solutions to help them reach their goals. He assists clients with financial planning, tax preparation, investing, reporting and a variety of projects.

Prior to joining Mariner, Jacob was director, financial planning at Edelman Financial Engines. There, he worked with clients to build, maintain and adapt their long-term financial plans to help achieve their financial goals. Before that, Jacob was a financial consultant with Fidelity, where he helped provide clients with solutions to maintain or achieve a successful financial plan.

Jacob has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Jacob likes spending time with his wife and two children. They enjoy outdoor activities together, exploring new places or attending the kids’ sports activities. Going to St. Louis Cardinals games at Busch Stadium is also a favorite pastime. Additionally, Jacob is an outdoor enthusiast and finds that taking hikes, fly fishing and playing golf allow him to reset and recharge.
