Lindsey Serrano, JD
Experience and Education
Lindsey works with individuals, families, foundations and non-profits to match them with the advisory team best positioned to help them achieve their long-term objectives. She has more than 23 years of experience in business development roles in the corporate, real estate and nonprofit sectors.
Prior to joining Mariner, she was the director of major and planned gifts at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. In that role, she worked closely with families and foundations in planning their philanthropic donations. She draws from her experience working with donors, listening to their needs and developing strategies to help them achieve their long-term objectives as she works with Mariner’s clients to develop solutions to meet their challenges and help them achieve their goals.
Lindsey also has worked at Andrews McMeel Universal and Better Homes and Gardens of Kansas City. She began her career as an international channel manager at CompuSpeak International.
Lindsey has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kansas School of Law. She has bachelor’s degrees in French and art history from the University of Kansas. She also studied at Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France and at Université Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris, France.
Personal Interests
In her free time, Lindsey enjoys cooking and traveling. She is on The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art board and is a council member of the Planned Giving Council at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
