Scott is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Kansas and Missouri.

Experience and Education

Scott focuses on providing tailored and creative tax services to high-net-worth individuals, their families and closely held entities. He has more than 20 years of experience in the tax business. Prior to joining Mariner, Scott was a partner and manager at RubinBrown where he was responsible for tax consulting, planning and compliance for individuals, partnerships and corporations. He also spent seven years at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a manager and director. Prior to that, he spent five years at KPMG as a tax specialist and manager.

Scott has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University. He is also a member of the AICPA.
