Vanessa is a Certified Public Accountant and maintains life, accident, health and HMO insurance licenses.

Experience and Education

Vanessa works with families, closely held business owners and corporate executives to provide comprehensive financial planning solutions to help meet their short- and long-term goals, including income tax planning, wealth transfer strategies and asset protection planning. Prior to joining Mariner, she worked as a banker at J.P. Morgan – Private Bank. Before that she also was a manager of the consulting team at Southern Wealth Management and a senior wealth advisor at Popular Inc. (Banco Popular de Puerto Rico).

She has a master’s degree in finance and economics from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico at San Juan and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Puerto Rico at San Juan.

Personal Interests

As a mother of four children, Vanessa enjoys road trips, camping and beach destinations. She enjoys spending her personal time running and hiking.
